Their old team Group Chat, which hasn't been used for more than congratulatory messages in a while, was blowing up his phone. Unfortunately, it seemed that whatever dimension delivered his invite, also delivered similar invites to the rest of the old Shiratorizawa team.
The last one was a bit further away from the concept of Weddings, Tendou and Ushijima, so he decided to deal with that one first. I didn’t even know there was a THEM five minutes ago, but apparently there is and it's this paper. #1 While simple, the design was very pretty and very THEM. But still, out of the thousands of weird and wacky interactions and stories from his friend, he felt he had built up a good amount of immunity against being too stunnedīut no matter how accustomed Semi had become to Tendou’s unpredictability and love of shock value, nothing could have prepared him for opening his mail and discovering a WEDDING INVITATION. To say he was dumbstruck for a few minutes before brain.exe started working again would be an understatement. Tendou liked to get a rise out of people, and often enjoyed telling wild stories at inappropriate times, or showing large levels of emotion randomly. So to say one needed to expect the unexpected with anything in regards to Tendou was not a stretch. He was someone who was incredibly complex, and no matter how well Semi felt he knew the boy, Tendou would always seem to unfold another side of himself, sending Semi into unknown territory yet again.
And sure, when hearing someone sing about the failings of another team it was easy to write Tendou off as an asshole or even a plain old bully, but Semi knew better after all this time. The only ones to see his more sadistic side were those on the court, both opponents and teammates alike. To someone who hadn’t spent a lot of time around the lanky redhead, Tendou probably just looked like a loud, eccentric boy who liked Manga and had a natural knack for guess blocking. But the biggest surprise came in the form of a small envelope that was delivered on an average Tuesday amongst bills and adverts. Semi Eita knew this to be true as he and Satori had been friends for close to a decade at this point, and through all this time Tendou never failed to surprise him. If there was ever a saying that captured the true feelings of being friends with Tendou Satori, it would have to be a simple “expect the unexpected.”
